Wow, Kelly. You're giving away your secrets. What a great post that I'm sure will be revisted many times.
I love that Silvano console table and the CB2 stool! JAM is my favorite designer on Million Dollar Decorators but that was pretty ridiculous that he seemed so challenged to create a space out of catalog furniture. In the end I liked the Nantucket house as much as most of his other work which is apparently all custom designed :)
I like Designing Room for my home and I look it as a part of interior design
great post. but I am always having such a hard time at this "mixing" thing. I am so heavy on old stuff, you know, vintage and quirky antiques. everytime I try to add something modern, it looks so odd. I love that lucite desk from wisteria and would love to have it...yet I'm such a chicken!
Great post and so happy you have a blog!! Completely agree with mixing it up! My favorite look right now is a rustic table paired with ghost chairs!!
I'm so very glad you are back blogging. If I had the funds to hire a designer (and trust me I have read design blogs for years)it would be you!
Like A Perfect Gray, this post reminds me to mix it up. I look around at my house full of antiques and think there must be room for a white Parsons table somewhere. Love to see what it is you love.
