Work has been busy, I have many creative and interesting things happening that I'll fill you in on later. Here is a project that I want to share with all of you. One client that I have worked with over the years is a good friend. She came to me several years ago for help with their Cape Cod house. Pat, wanted her summer home to feel quite different from their home above, which is in a suburb of Boston. Pat and her husband are amazing , down-to earth people. They have raised four incredible sons, who turned out to be really nice people, just like their parents. I loved working on these two rooms and making them feel more like this great couple. It was a collaboration with Pat that made all of this incredibly successful, So now (drum roll please) ...to the before pics. Pat allowed me to share these with you.
These are two of the before pictures. We added new hardwood flooring to the family room, removed the brick wall and wood burning stove, painted, added new window treatments, new furnishing and kept some of the old furnishing.
It's a transformation that really works. It's classic, simple and beautiful. Natural light comes thru, the rooms now feel like Pat and Walter. Thank you both for letting me be a part of your project. All my best, Kelly

INCREDIBLE! The transformation makes the living room seem so much larger!! The styles (before vs. after) are completely different - from one extreme to the next!! The after is so beautiful - congratulations!!
