just add green

Looking back over many of the jobs that I’ve had the pleasure to work on, I’ve found many decorative elements that I repeat to brighten up a space. My all time favorite (other than removing clutter ) is to add a bowl of bright green apples….the kitchen; of course, family room …yes, yes, yes…bathroom…maybe not. Any vessel will do; clear, ceramic, enamel, wood, glass…just about anything you have on hand. The green color of the apples  makes your space shine and the apples last forever…ok , maybe for a couple of months and they are so good to eat.....….. Green plants are another go to for me...So simple and yet so beautiful in any space...  Here are a few images that I've been involved in and some other "eye candy" images for your viewing pleasure.  Happy Holidays, kelly

Love all of these! Do you know the source for the outdoor kitchen photo? I am building an outdoor kitchen and would love to see others of this space.
Happy New Year!

Kelly I always add a touch of green in every room I do. I did a post a long time ago called PPL. The cheapest decorating tools, Paint, plants and light!!!! Love the images you used as examples, Kathysue

Love the pop of fresh green like plants and fruit! Those pictures are beautiful! I need to find something that my kitties don't eat as far as plant life!

I love the addition of green to a room. Kind of wondering why I don't do it in my own home more often. Maybe your post is the inspiration I need to start :o)

I am with you again there. I LOVE to use green apples in photos or some sort of greenery especially against white or neutral backgrounds. It just makes the shot pop.
Love your images as always Kelly.

I don't think a house is a home until there green bits of nature spread all about the place. Your apples on the cake stand are very pretty, and I love them in the terracotta (?) bowl in your dining room...such a great idea!

Also...a very big thank you Kelly for placing me on your blogroll, such a wonderful surprise, you made my day!

Hope you had a great Christmas...
