OMG London

On a recent trip to London, courtesy of my fabulous husband Matt, my family enjoyed so many amazing experiences --- historic, gluttonous and design oriented (the latter was mostly enjoyed by me). One of my favorites was Portobello Market, an incredibly well known street market that takes up most of Portobello Road and stretches for over 2 miles. Located in the heart of Notting Hill ; a trendy and amazingly cool area.
As a huge lover of flea markets, I found the whole day to be pure nirvana.  The street is filled with antiques, traders, vegetables and fruits, and some of London's current fashions.  There seemed to be something for everyone.  My crew stayed mainly in the antique section where everything captured my eye and wallet.
Be sure to visit Portobello Market when in London, you might not bump into the queen but your sure to have a fabulous time.

oh boy! I have dreamed of going to europe for as long as I can remember! So exciting to here that you and your family enjoyed their stay in London. Is London as dirty as some people say it is? A couple places I would like to visit when I have the funds to do so are: Ireland, Italy, Germany, Austria and France. Of course I would love all of Europe most likely, but those are to name a few :)

Hi Kelly,
What a wonderful trip! I lived in Oxford for several months and unfortunately, only made it down to London ONCE! Would love to return and go to that amazing market place. What a great combination of all things wonderful...antiques, food, fashion!

Was the OMG for the market and the wares or for that gorgeous guy in the first photo? It all looks fabulous though. Everything and that guy.
